A Torquay-made gin brand that focuses on local quality
Torbay Gin is a small-batch gin distillery based in Cockington, Torquay. Known for its bold botanical blends and distinctive colour-changing gin, the brand puts a strong focus on quality, community, and its South Devon roots. From the ingredients to the branding, everything is built around a genuine connection to the local area.
With a growing product range and a loyal customer base, Torbay Gin needed marketing that could keep up with demand, strengthen its presence online, and support both retail and wholesale growth. That’s where I came in.
My role has covered social media, SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, product launches, event marketing, and POS design – ensuring a cohesive and effective marketing strategy that aligns with Torbay Gin’s brand identity.

I’ve delivered full-service marketing support across social media, SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, product launches, event promotion, and POS design – all tied together under a consistent brand strategy.
This has included both day-to-day marketing management and high-impact campaigns, helping Torbay Gin grow its online reach, boost in-person event performance, and expand its network of local stockists.
What I Did
Social Media Management and Content Creation
I transformed Torbay Gin’s social media presence by shifting from static product shots to a content strategy focused on storytelling, brand values, and community engagement.
Content included cocktail videos, location-led imagery that captured the essence of Torbay, and educational posts about botanicals and distilling.
SEO and Online Visibility
I turned Torbay Gin’s website into a working sales tool by improving technical SEO, optimising key pages, and introducing regular blog content targeting relevant keywords, helping the site rank in the top 5 for competitive search terms.


Product Launches and Campaigns
I led launch campaigns for two gin launches: Matobo Gin with Paignton Zoo, a conservation-led collaboration supported by creative content, an SEO-optimised landing page, and in-store POS materials that has raised nearly £1,000 for the zoo; and the English Riviera Airshow Gin, which included content creation, paid ads, a local giveaway, and email marketing, leading to strong sales and its renewal for 2025.
Ongoing Full Marketing Support
I introduced a regular email strategy to drive repeat purchases, built a CRM to support wholesale growth, created physical brand materials, and represented the brand at events to deliver a consistent customer experience.










The Results
This work delivered measurable results across both digital and physical channels.
- The rate of new Facebook followers increased by 214% between Q2 and Q3.
- Store sessions rose 166% year-on-year
- Q4 revenue grew by 91%
- Top 5 rankings for key search terms
- Over 700 entries in a campaign-led giveaway
- Expanded stockist presence across South Devon
- Nearly £1,000 raised for Paignton Zoo through Matobo Gin
